Here you can wander through the field to the 800 ft private foreshore, row one of the dinghies provided round to South Pool to the pub (tides permitting!), barbecue by the old lime kiln on the foreshore and revel in the views of this dreamy stretch of water. The tiny hamlet of Goodshelter is just a mile from East Portlemouth, the lovely beaches of Millbay and Sunny Cove and from there, a ferry ride to the popular town of Salcombe. The cottages are alongside a courtyard shared with the owner’s home, and the converted Boathouse. The grounds slope down to the Creek and provide very comfortable, well furnished and flexible accommodation. A Wayfarer sailing dinghy is available for use by the experienced as well as a couple of rowing dinghies, but entirely at guests' risk, (ask for details).
