A warm welcome awaits you at Crumble Cottage, converted from a milking parlour on a 15 acre working smallholding on the outskirts of the peaceful hamlet of Bethania in Mid Wales. Crumble Cottage is cosy and comfortable and with exposed beams and stone walls, it has a lovely cottagey atmosphere. Within 15 minutes of the main Cardigan Bay coast road, Crumble Cottage is ideally located for exploring this beautiful, unspoilt part of Wales. In 20 minutes you can be on the Ceredigion Coast Path, in the charming Regency harbour town of Aberaeron or at the National Trust mansion of Llanerchaeron in the verdant Aeron Valley. Driving inland you reach the market town of Tregaron: watch traditional trotting races in the summer, walk the boardwalks or cycle the gravel paths in Cors Caron Nature Reserve or visit the historic ruins of Strata Florida Abbey.  From there you can visit Teifi Pools and explore the Cambrian Mountains: a wilder landscape offering fabulous walking country, ideal for those who enjoy more challenging walks. You will find a selection of walking guides and maps in the cottage to help you explore and enjoy all that Ceredigion has to offer. There is a sauna which can be booked with the owner for a small charge. Cwt Mochyn is a charmingly restored barn conversion situated near Llanon in Ceredigion. This eco-friendly cottage is a spacious single-storey property that demonstrates sustainability and comfort can go hand in hand. Original stone walls and wooden beams have been retained in the open, high ceiling living and dining area. Here you will find a perfect home from home dog-friendly holiday cottage; a rural retreat for family holidays where kids can run free, go pond dipping for bugs, be “King of the Castle” in the treehouse and cook cowboy style on the campfire. Families will enjoy the many activities in the area, including horse riding, water sports and boat tours. Lasting memories can be made on many sandy beaches along Cardigan Bay. Walkers will love this area with countryside walks from the door and birds of prey to spot overhead. Coastal walking includes visiting lovely coves, sandy beaches and possibly even spotting dolphins and seals along the way.
