The large enclosed rear garden is great for children and dogs to enjoy, and there’s also a picnic bench, ideal for supervising little ones while they play or for enjoying your morning coffee or glass of wine after a busy day at the beach. Aberporth, Llangrannog and Tresaith are just a few minutes drive away, or you could walk along the Wales Coast Path to these charming coastal villages. Cnwc Y Boidy is a large coastal cottage within walking distance of the beautiful beaches of Penbryn and Llangrannog on Cardigan Bay. This quiet coastal area offers sandy beaches, spectacular coastlines, and coves enjoyed by walkers, cyclists, and beach enthusiasts alike. This part of Ceredigion is a haven for nature lovers and offers superb opportunities for spotting seals, dolphins, and other rare species of sea life, birds, and plants. Llangrannog is home to the Welsh League of Youth's (Urdd Gobaith Cymru) residential center with its extensive sports and leisure facilities, including a dry ski-slope, which are also open to the public. Set on 18 acres of grounds, including breathtaking manicured gardens and a croquet lawn, this 1800s ‘chocolate box’ farmhouse delivers warmth and character. Glynarthen is a hidden gem which boasts incredible views across the Preseli hills. The cottage is a wonderful location to explore the countryside or you can find many beautiful seaside villages and towns a short drive away. Close to Y Ffermdy Farmhouse, you can explore the wonderful beaches at Penbryn and Aberporth. Aberporth is a vibrant seaside village and is home to two stunning, sandy beaches, a pub, cafés, and takeaways. You can kayak or paddleboard at the beach or take a sunset stroll along the coastal path, you can even spot dolphins in the bay. Only 8 miles from Y Ffermdy Farmhouse you can find the pretty market town of Cardigan, which offers a cinema/theatre, traditional and independent shops and a charming castle.
