On a cool evening cosy up in the lounge after a busy day exploring the South Hams, and create delicious meals in the well equipped kitchen with local fare from Stokeley farm shop half a mile away.  For nights off cooking, meander down to the seafront to The Start Bay Inn, famous for their fish and chips, and enjoy watching the waves roll in.Toorak is a truly fantastic holiday home for all ages with all the amenities for your comfort and convenience to make the most of a relaxing break at any time of the year. Huccombe is a small hamlet perched less than a mile from the charming village of Beesands in spectacular Start Bay, with a mile of shingle beach, a great local pub and restaurant serving a varied menu and locally caught fish-the Cricket Inn, and a popular fish restaurant, Britannia at the beach, village green, and area of natural interest, all surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside with the South West Coast path running right through, there’s plenty for everyone to do. The bustling market town of Kingsbridge has a good selection of shops and restaurants twenty minutes away, as does the historic naval town of Dartmouth which is also worth a visit.
