The tiny hamlet of Goodshelter is just a mile from East Portlemouth, the lovely beaches of Millbay and Sunny Cove and from there, a ferry ride to the popular town of Salcombe. The cottages are alongside a courtyard shared with the owner’s home, and the converted Boathouse. The grounds slope down to the Creek and provide very comfortable, well furnished and flexible accommodation. A Wayfarer sailing dinghy is available for use by the experienced as well as a couple of rowing dinghies, but entirely at guests' risk, (ask for details). The Goodshelter Barns and The Boathouse are a wonderful place for a large reunion of friends or family, all in the most idyllic position.
